UK-London: graffiti removal services
Graffiti removal services. Wandsworth Borough Council is inviting suitably qualified and experienced organisations to express an interest in being considered to tender for a contract providing an efficient, cost effective and comprehensive graffiti removal and associated works service for a period of 4 years to commence on 25.2.2011. Applications will only be considered from organisations able to demonstrate their experience in this area. The indicative quantity of work under the contract is the removal of approximately 40 000 square metres of graffiti per annum with an estimated annual contract value of 217 000 GBP, although there is no guarantee of the volume or value of the work to be placed. The contract in broad terms, requires either the removal or covering of graffiti to local authority or private property boroughwide via individual works instructions issued. It is intended that the Council will appoint a primary and secondary contractor who will be invited to tender rates for a range of percentages of the indicative volumes quoted in order to ensure choice for service users and to avoid the Council becoming over-dependent on a single supplier.
