U.S. GOVERNMENT SEEKS EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST FOR A LEASE REQUIREMENT OF APPROXIMATELY 2,185 RENTABLE SQUARE FEET (YIELDING AT LEAST 1,850 ANSI/BOMA OFFICE AREA SQUARE FEET) OF CLASS A OFFICE SPACE IN BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS

The General Services Administration (GSA) seeks to lease the following space:


State: Massachusetts
City (Delineated Area): Boston
Minimum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 1,850
Maximum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 1,940
Space Type: Class A Office Space
Total Parking Spaces (Reserved): 1
Full Term: 5 years
Firm Term: 3 years

The U.S. Government currently occupies office and related space in a building under lease in Boston, Massachusetts.  The Government is considering alternative space if economically advantageous.   In making this determination, the Government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternative space that potentially can satisfy the Government's requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunication infrastructure, and non-productive agency downtime.

The Government's decision whether to relocate will be based, in part, on information received in response to this advertisement.

Offered space must meet Government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic and sustainability standards per the terms of the Lease. A fully serviced lease is required.

EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST MUST BE SUBMITTED IN WRITING NO LATER THAN 5:00 PM (EST) on December 15, 2014 AND INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION:

1) Building name and address
2) Location of space in the building specifying the floor(s) offered and the ANSI/BOMA useable square feet offered on each level.
3) Drawing of space offered.
4) ANSI/BOMA defined Office Area Square Feet
5) Rentable Square Feet (RSF) offered and rental rate per square foot, specifying services, utilities, and tenant improvement allowance included.
6) Percentage of Common Area Factor used to Determine the Rentable Square Feet
7) Number of parking spaces available on the premises.
8) Name, address, telephone number, and email address of individual to be contacted.

Submissions by other than the owner or manager of a property must be accompanied by a letter from the ownership granting permission to make a general offering of space. In instances where the Offeror is representing more than one property, the Offeror is hereby notified that they may only participate in negotiations on behalf of one owner. Please include reference to 4MA0199.
