This is a SOURCES SOUGHT/REQUEST FOR INFORMATION NOTICE only for the purpose of Market Research. This posting is to help identify potential vendors and is issued solely for informational and planning purposes. This posting is NOT an Invitation for Bid (IFB) or a Request for Proposals (RFP). Responders are advised that the Government will NOT pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this SOURCES SOUGHT; all costs associated with responding to this SOURCES SOUGHT will be solely at the interested party's expense.

Requirement Overview:
• PROJECT TITLE: MAINTAIN TURBINE-GENERATOR #5
• LOCATION: EIELSON AFB, ALASKA
• PROJECT: FTQW 19-1018
• DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Tear down, inspect, clean and repair turbine-generator #5 and auxiliary equipment at Eielson AFB's Central Heat and Power Plant (CH&PP). In addition, upgrade the electronic governor and vibration monitoring system. Turbine-Generator #5 is a 10 MW IMO-DeLaval steam turbine coupled to an Electric Machinery generator, installed in 1987. Preparation of technical notes and tear-down/repair reports will be required.


The U.S.A.F. is requesting the following information from interested vendors:
• Company name and contact information to include phone number and email.
• Contractor capability statement.
• DUNS number and CAGE code.
• Business type (large business, small business, small disadvantaged business, 8(a)-certified small disadvantaged business, HUBZone small business, woman-owned small business, very small business, veteran-owned small business, service disabled veteran-owned small business) based upon North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 811310, small business size standard of $7.5M.


Not identifying as an INTERESTED PARTY WILL NOT exclude participation in any future IFB or RFP. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the FedBizOps website at https://www.fbo.gov. It is the SOLE responsibility of the potential vendor to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this SOURCES SOUGHT.
