Construction should include: a fuel service station that will provide sufficient fuel pumps for gasoline and diesel fuel for trucks and automobiles, a convenience store as well as a modern dining facility. The Proposer will be responsible for the operation of the food service and related facilities. The Port Authority also encourages all Proposers to include services such as: maintenance bays for automobiles, small trucks and vans; one or more fuel pumps to dispense a clean burning, environmentally friendly alternative fuel such as compressed natural gas, biodiesel, ethanol, hydrogen, etc.; public restrooms; space for public telephones; and an air pump for inflating tires.
