Triton MQ-4C MOB and FOB Modifications
The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), NAS Patuxent River, MD, intends to contract with Northrup Grumman Corporation (NGC), San Diego, CA, on a sole source basis for the following: an order off of Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-15-G-0026 for activities required to support the non-recurring engineering to modify existing configurations for the Triton MQ-4C Triton Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) Main Operating Base (MOB) and Forward Operating Base (FOB); modifications to existing Production and Retrofit contracts (N00019-18-C-1028, N00019-19-C-0008, and N00019-15-G-0026-N0001919F0272) for the incorporation of MOB and FOB hardware configuration recurring effort and associated kitting.
The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, “Only one Responsible Source and No Other Type of Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements” for the proposed contract action. As the sole designer, developer, manufacturer, and integrator of the MQ-4C Triton UAS MOB and FOB, NGC is the only contractor with the requisite technical knowledge, expertise, and technical data that can meet the Government’s needs within the program’s cost and schedule constraints.
THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice.
