Trimble SX10
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and proposals are being requested.
Requisition Number W81EWF82347212 is being issued as a request for proposal (RFP) with intent to award as a single contract. The solicitation document and incorporated provision and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95. This requirement is 100% set aside for small business concerns under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 334511 with a Small Business Size Standard of 1,250 employees.
The US Army Corps of Engineers, Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) 3909 Halls Ferry Road, Vicksburg MS 39180-6199 has a requirement to purchase a Trimble SX10 scanning total station (Brand Name or equal).

General Description: The Trimble SX10 scanning total station provides the world's most innovative solution for engineering and scanning professionals. This new, versatile solution is capable of collecting any combination of high-density 3D scan data, enhanced Trimble VISIONTM imaging, and high-accuracy total station data which will allow better products to the clients. The upgraded design of the system will allow faster data collection and analysis. The complete integration of the SX10 with Trimble AccessTM and Trimble Business Center software enable familiar and efficient survey workflows expedite field work.
This instrument must be compatible with current equipment, specifically currently owned and approved software (Pathfinder and Terrasync) and ruggedized tablets. The scanning capability will allow additional data collection not currently available with existing equipment. These features will increase field work efficiencies and safety by increasing 1) amount of data that can be collected autonomously and reducing field technicians putting themselves in compromising locations, 2) decreasing the amount of time necessary to collect data points, 3) improving accuracy of data collected and providing better calibration standards for model development.

Scan 26,600 points per second
Compatible with Trimble Tablet Rugged PC
1" angle measurement accuracy
Autolock range of 800 meters

No additional equipment is included with the Trimble SX10.
