Trauma Communications Center
The purpose of this RFP is to solicit proposals from qualified companies or organizations to establish
and operate the Trauma Communications Center (TCC). The operation of theTCC is to facilitate prompt communication and
coordination of available hospital resources. Call center operators will triage and advise on transport of
major trauma patients to hospitals with the appropriate capability to provide optimum care. This
agreement establishes the operation of call center command and communications networks and
requires the collection and reporting of specified data sets for quality improvement and evaluation of the Trauma System.
