Amendment #1, Full solicitation added 3/29/19

The USDA Forest Service, Superior National Forest, located in Duluth Minnesota anticipates issuing a Request for Proposals for the FR 369 Trappers Lake Road Improvements. Hauling and placing crushed aggregate surfacing from stockpile and ditch/shoulder reconditioning on FR 369 (Trappers Lake Road) starting at FR 172 (milepost 0) for 1 mile as base. Optional bid items extend it and additional 4 miles to FR 373 intersection.

The intent of the contract is to provide for the construction and completion of the work described. The precise details of performing the work are not stipulated except as considered essential for the successful completion of the work. Furnish all labor, material, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies necessary to complete the work according to the contract.


Price range is between $25,000 and $35,000 without Options.


This is a synopsis, the full solicitation documents including specifications will be issued on or about April 1, 2019. Deadline for proposals will be April 30, 2019. In order to receive award under this RFP the successful offeror shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). NAICS: 237310, the size standard is $36.5 Million. This project is being solicited as a 100% set aside for Small Business. All work is to comply with local, Federal and State codes and is subject to Department of Labor wage rates.
