Transportation Services for Lab Specimes and Blood Products

The County is seeking bids from qualified vendors to provide Transportation Services for Lab Specimens and Blood Products for the Hospital District for a period of one year beginning on or about April 1, 2010 and ending twelve months thereafter.
The Hospital District (Hospital District) is seeking an experienced vendor to provide transportation services for lab specimens and blood products. Lab specimens and blood products will be transported between Clinics approximately 3 to 4 times daily with extra stat services as needed.
Services will also include tracking pick-up and delivery. The Hospital District prefers an electronic system with GPS capability for tracking pick-up and delivery of samples online. If possible, the electronic system should interface with the Hospital Districts existing Sunquest Lab Information System.
