The Contracting Agency is seeking a contractor to provide design services for 1.8 miles of Knik Goose Bay Road, from Vine Road to Settler?s Bay, to construct a four lane divided section. The project will also include pedestrian improvements, addition of turn pockets, access control, traffic signals and lighting, and other engineering solutions to increase safety and level of service along the corridor. The Contractor shall provide design services to complete a bid-ready set of Plans, Specifications and Estimate (PS&E). Services include environmental documentation and permitting, surveying and survey control sheets, production of plans, specifications and engineer's estimate, public involvement, right-of-way (base mapping, platting, appraisal and acquisition), hydrologic and hydraulic design, utility conflict reporting and agreements, traffic analysis and review, a design study report and all other actions necessary to support such an effort. Assistance during bidding and construction shall also be provided.
