Trailer Transportation
The Central Federal Lands Highway Division (CFLHD) of the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) is seeking transportation services for the attached list of mobile trailers. These trailers (converted from mobile homes) are to be used as office space during FHWA's road and highway construction season and periodically require relocation from one construction project site to another. Distances from site locations will vary depending on requirements, needs and new project location.
Trailer models include Airstreams, 5th Wheels, Draw and Tongue Hitch units with varying dimensions and weight. Trailers are located (often times at remote sites) within our 14-state region (AZ, CA, CO, KS, NE, NV, NM, ND, OK, SD, UT, TX and WY); therefore, distances to and from site locations will vary depending on requirements. At times, it will be necessary to relocate trailers to and from the CFLHD Depot Warehouse in Lakewood, CO
The Contractor shall furnish supplies and/or services, when requested by the Contracting Officer or the authorized representative during the period specified in the paragraph below entitled "Effective Period." Purchases (which may be referred to as call orders) made hereunder must first have a written Statement of Work (SOW). The purchases shall reference this agreement. Such calls shall include a description of the job requirements, prices, delivery schedule, place of inspection and acceptance. We need contractor in all of these areas.
