Trail Restoration
A section of the Canal State Trail suffered extensive flood damage during late 2007. A bike trail located on the canal towpath is currently closed to the public as it is impassible. This project will reconstruct the canals embankment and bike trail to its pre-flood configuration by restoring embankment side slopes, placing fill material, installing culverts, filter fabric and surface material, and removing accumulated debris in the canals prism.
