Trail Repair Project
Four bridges were installed which have since been damaged by vehicle traffic and are impractical to maintain. Heavy rain events have induced erosion on the trail and around support structures for these bridges. In time, this has caused several problems, including; a) compromised bridge stability, b) degraded downstream water quality due to excessive sedimentation, c) maintenance needs disproportionate to the functionality and usage patterns of the trail and d) unsafe trail conditions from uneven and unstable trail surfaces
