Traffic Studies and Roadway Design
The work to be performed shall consist of various types of traffic studies and minor roadway design. The engineering services will be issued by a specific work authorization, and will include but not limited to: Traffic Analysis, Traffic Count, Signal Warrants, Collision Diagrams, Origin and Destination Studies, Parking supply and Demand Studies, Capacity Analysis, Minor Traffic Signal Design and Traffic Signal Timing, Lighting Analysis and Design, Traffic Supply Inventory, Traffic Time and Delay, Intersection analysis, Pavement Marking Design and Speed Zone surveys. A registered professional electrical engineer (no pre-certification necessary) may also be required to verify that proposed traffic signal work meets the requirements of the National Electrical Code.
