Towing, Storage, Maintenance and Disposal of Seized /Forfeited Vehicles for the District of Arizona, District of Colorado, District of New Mexico, District of Utah and District of Wyoming - DJM-18-AFD-0008
BACKGROUND
The United States Marshals Service (USMS) has a responsibility to Relocate, Store, Maintain and Dispose of seized and/or forfeited Vehicles throughout the United States. This requirement is for the District of Arizona, District of Colorado, District of New Mexico, District of Utah and District of Wyoming specifically.
REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI)
The USMS is posting this announcement as an RFI only, for the upcoming solicitation that will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at www.fbo.gov. This RFI is issued for the purpose of identifying the availability of potential qualified sources that will be able to meet the requirement. The solicitation will be for the Towing, Storage, Maintenance and Disposal of Vehicles to the General Public as a customary business practice in the Phoenix, Arizona; Denver, Colorado; Albuquerque, New Mexico and Salt Lake City, Utah metropolitan areas. The vehicle services contract will be for a base year and four (4) one-year options.
There are four (4) locations of Contract Performance:
i) 50 road miles of the USMS District of Arizona, 410 W. Washington Street, Phoenix, AZ 85003
ii) 40 road miles of the USMS District of Colorado, 901 19th Street, Denver, CO 80294
iii) 30 road miles of the USMS District of New Mexico, 333 Lomas Blvd., NW, Suite 180, Albuquerque, NM 87102
iv) 30 road miles of the USMS District of Utah, 350 South Main Street, Salt Lake Ciy, UT 84101
If you are interested in the upcoming solicitation, provide a capability statement addressing your company's ability to provide the related services. You are advised that providing your capability statement and responses to all questions that no entitlement to payment or indirect costs or charges by the Government will arise as a result of contractor submission of responses to this RFI or the Government's use of such information. The Government reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any contractor's input resulting from this RFI. In addition, you are advised that providing responses to the questions will not automatically include you in the acquisition process for this solicitation. All responses are due by Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 2:00 pm EST.
