Total Rewards Program Review
The purpose and intent of this Request For Proposals (RFP) is to solicit sealed proposals to
establish a contract through competitive negotiation for consulting services to review, assess
and make recommendations to the State Corporation Commission (SCC), Chief Administrative
Officer (CAO) and the Director of Human Resources (HR), for their Total Rewards Program.
The Total Rewards Program is all of the tools the SCC uses to attract, motivate, and retain
employees to enhance job satisfaction and engagement such as: compensation - cash provided
to an employee for services; benefits - programs such as health insurance, life insurance,
retirement, and CommonHealth; work experience - programs such as business casual and
flexible work schedules; performance - annual merit increases through the Pay for
Performance Management System; recognition - Employee Recognition Program and
adjustment and achievement bonuses; and career opportunities - reallocations, promotions,
coaching, and mentoring.
