The Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate a sole source modification to Contract N00019-18-C-1026 with Mercer Engineering Research Center (MERC), Warner Robins, GA.  The anticipated modification is for the nonrecurring efforts to add Aging Fleet Integrity & Reliability Management- Multiplatform (AFIRM-M) Page to MH-60S Crack History Database. 

This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. MERC has the proprietary technical data, experience, equipment, and special skills to furnish the supplies and services within the required timeframe.  

Note: The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement.  This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, any capability statements received within thirty days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
