Introduction and Overview:
These mobile storage units will ensure the facility has an efficient process for deploying shelter in place cots for mission essential staff and enhance the recovery reconstitution process. This is an improvement item that currently is a gap in the facilities SIP capability to provide a safe and secure environment for mandated mission essential staff.
1.1 Background:
The facility is required to disinfect, maintain and store the Shelter In Place cots after each use. It has been determined that mobile storage units will enhance the longevity of the cots and allow for easy deployment from the storage room to the clinical floors when activated. Currently there are no mobile storage units for the facility cots and the integrity of the cots has been compromised. The mobile storage units will keep the cots sanitary and sound during deployment, reconstitution and storage situations
1.2 Scope of Work:
A customizable rack for storing up to 30 Bushtec Adventure Sierra 440 Premium Camp Cot. Looking for a total of 10 custom racks.
1.3 Objectives:
The primary objective for the procurement of 10 mobile cot storage racks is to protect the shelter in place cots and provide easy deployment to the identified sleeping locations for mission essential staff during activation of the emergency operations plan.
The second objective would be to ensure the cots are kept in a clean secure location to ensure their sustainability over the period of multiple years.
3. Requirements / Specifications:
Cots: (already own)
Bushtec Adventure Sierra 440 Premium Camp Cots.
Racks:
Must be able to store 30 Bushtec cots per rack.
Must be able to fit through a standard single wide hospital door frame.
Wheels needed for easy accessibility.
Warranty:
1-Year Limited
Statement of warranty of equipment, minimum one year.
Statement of service included or for purchase: preventive maintenance; service and repair.
