Sources Sought Synopsis: This RFI is for market research purposes only. Responses to this Request for Information (RFI) are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Respondents shall not submit any proprietary information when responding to this RFI. Respondents shall also note that the Government will not return any information submitted in response to this RFI. The Government is not responsible for any costs incurred by respondents regarding any responses to this RFI. Respondents must submit capability statements that clearly define the firm's ability to provide the items stated in this RFI. This requirement is for Timothy Grass Hay - 14 tons per delivery, 24 deliveries per year (12 deliveries to Fort Myer, Virginia and 12 deliveries to Fort Belvoir, Virginia). Bales are required to meet the dimensions of 16 quote mark x19 quote mark x36 quote mark . The Timothy Grass Hay must be between 7 to 11 percent crude protein, and 0.38 to 0.51 percent calcium.

It is a market research tool (FAR Part 10) being used to determine potential business firms capable of providing the supply and/or services described herein prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of a Request for Quote. The NAICS contemplated for this requirement is 111940 with a size standard of $750,000.
