Delta County Economic Development, Inc. (DCED) is accepting proposals for a Feasibility Study for Delta Timber Company in Delta, Colorado. The Feasibility Study must meet the criteria for submission to USDA Rural Development programs as outlined below.
Economic Feasibility: Study the overall economic impact of Delta Timber's operation.
Market Feasibility: Study the extent of the market and the addition of the following markets: Wood products used in the shipping industry, wood products used for biomass fuels, the addition of an excelsior mill and addition of a pellet mill on-site.
Technical Feasibility: Analysis of design and processes relating to the timber industry.
Financial Feasibility: An assessment of the financial projections and projected cash flow.
Management Feasibility: Evaluate the continuity and adequacy of management.
Proposals may be mailed to DCED, PO Box 627, Delta, CO 81416, or delivered to
122 W. Third St., Delta, CO, 81416. 1 electronic copy must be submitted by the following deadline as well to [email protected].
All proposals must be received in the DCED office no later than 5:00 p.m., September 17, 2010.
