US NAVY Ship Repair Mediterranean Industry Event

This notice is to inform industry partners, the US NAVY and NAVSUP FLCSI need to gain capability for ship repair on the Mediterranean and Northern Europe to support our growing fleet.
Ship Repair Industry Days are scheduled onboard the USNS CARSON CITY (T-EPF-7), with a presentation starting on 19 November 2019, and follow-on meetings scheduled 20 November to 21 November 2019 on the ship and at the Grand Hyatt in Athens, Greece.
On the first day, 19 November 2019, the US NAVY plans to present a basic knowledge of the US governments contracting regulation and technical standards required, provide assistance in all registrations, such as System
for Award Management (SAM), to become a qualified US government contractor.
On 20 and 21 November 2019, a ship repair tour will be held on the vessel along one-on-one meetings will be held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel.
Vendors are welcome and encouraged to attend any or all of the industry days.
Companies might be limited to 3-4 attendees per industry day to ensure sufficient space for all to attend. Finally, we will be providing time for one-on-one meetings to vendors to address specific questions related to the
ship repairs requirements.
