The purpose of this solicitation is to obtain Baldrige consultation services with the purpose of assisting the organization in achieving the goal of being in the top 10% of healthcare organizations and obtaing a Baldrige Award.
The Department of Veterans Affairs Healthcare System New England intends to acquire professional consulting services with the knowledge and skills to help us meet our goal of being one of the top ten healthcare systems and obtaining a Malcom Baldridge award.
The proposed procurement is a total small business set aside. The NACIS code is 541611with a size standard of $ 15 Million
This procurement is being conducted as a commercial item, using FAR part 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items (SAP-CI). It is anticipated that the solicitation for this requirement will be posted in June 2017. Interest parties are solely responsible for monitoring of the below mentioned website for postings of the solicitation and any amendments thereto.
It is anticipated The Department of Veterans Affairs will solicit a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) type, contract. The anticipated performance period is 01 August 2017 through 31 July 2018, with four, one-year option periods. Interested vendors will be required to submit a price and non-price (technical) proposal. The evaluation for contract award will consider the non-price technical proposal of the submission to be more important than price.
