The Puerto Rico Tourism Company (PRTC)- developer opportunity
The Puerto Rico Tourism Company (PRTC) is seeking Proposals from those interested in developing a nature-oriented hospitality project on a 136-acre oceanfront site known as Punta Lima in Naguabo, Puerto Rico. Easily accessible from PR-53, the site is located 45 miles southeast of San Juan. Punta Limas configuration, natural attributes, and extensive ocean frontage create a self-contained environment that is conducive to an eco-luxury experience.
Preliminary concepts for the peninsula portion of the Punta Lima site include: a full-service main hotel with a minimum of 200 luxury hotel rooms; 20+ water villas; 20+ forest villas; a spa & fitness center; a beach component; links to water activities such as fishing, scuba diving, and sailing along with nature oriented experiences such as hiking and running trails consistent with the theme of the development. The PRTC is in the process of obtaining permits for the project site and will convey the land fully entitled via a development ground lease.
