The Natural Gas Initiative Program Grants
The Office invites applications for Natural Gas Vehicle (NGV) grants from entities that operate or plan to operate on-road, heavy-duty vehicles for fleets operating in the areas specified. The goals of the Natural Gas Initiative Program (the Program) are to facilitate the introduction of NGVs into eligible entity fleets in Texas, in an effort to improve air quality and economic development. The Program will provide grants to offset the incremental cost of projects that reduce emissions of NOX from high emitting internal combustion engines in eligible areas.
