This is a Request for Information (RFI)/Sources Sought notice issued in accordance with FAR 15.201(e) to conduct market research. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue a RFP in the future. This request for information does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. The NPS is not, at this time, seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Responders are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested vendor's expense. Any information submitted by respondents to this RFI is strictly voluntary. All submissions become Government property and will not be returned.
The National Park Service (NPS) is issuing this sources sought in an effort to perform market research to further refine requirements and establish the best acquisition approach, as well as, to locate interested parties under NAICS Code 541611 that hold a valid 8(a) status that can perform the following tasks:
Currently, the National Park ServiceB?s Washington Support Office-Washington Contracting Office (WASO-WCO) is performing market research necessary to determine whether it will go forward with a solicitation to obtain onsite Training Support, Procurement Analyst, Procurement Technician, Financial Assistance Analyst, Financial Assistance Specialist, Contract Specialist II and System Support Analyst onsite contractor support services. The contractor will have the responsibility of providing a reliable, and stable, contract personnel force that is aligned with the WASO-WCO mission.
