This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
The solicitation number is W911QY-15-T-0006 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-71.
The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) Code is 334516. The Small Business size standard is 500 employees; however, full and open competition applies to this solicitation.
The Medical Countermeasure Systems- Joint Vaccine Acquisition Program is seeking to purchase a VIAFLO ASSIST Pipetting Platform and accessories as described on the attached SOLICITATION. Unless the offeror clearly indicates in its offer that the product being offered is an quote mark equal quote mark product, the offeror shall provide the brand name product referenced in the solicitation. Offer shall list, as directed below, key salient characteristics of the proposed OR EQUAL for evaluation purposes. If no salient characteristics are provided, the government will assume the OR EQUAL product does not meet the key salient characteristics of the Brand Name. Completion of the ATTACHMENT 1 'MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS / SPECIFICATIONS/ SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS' form is required if submitting a proposed Or Equal, if not completed offeror will be deemed non-responsive and will not be evaluated.
