The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Western Service Area has a requirement for work associated with the HVAC and roof replacement at the Ontario DDH Building located in Ontario, CA.

Introduction/Description:
The acquisition strategy for this procurement has not been determined at this time; however, either an unrestricted competition or set-aside will be chosen depending on the responses to this market survey.
This project includes but is not limited to and incidental related work:
Remove existing hydronic heating and chilled water plants and existing air conditioning equipment serving the ONT DDH building; provide temporary HVAC system during construction; provide new VAV system with packaged rooftop unit and air terminal units.
Controls for new HVAC System installation
Electrical for new HVAC System installation
New split AC System to serve the DDH Equipment Room
Remove and replace existing roofing serving the East section of the DDH building roof (which contains the rooftop HVAC equipment)
Asbestos abatement associated with the East section of the DDH building roof and replacement.
BID ITEMS A b C ARE LISTED AS OPTION ITEMS. THE FAA RESERVES THE RIGHT TO AWARD THE BID OPTION SEPARATELY OR IN ITS ENTIRETY BASED ON AVAILABILTY OF FUNDS. BID OPTION ITEM A-C WILL BE EVALUATED FOR PURPOSES OF AWARD.
OPTION A b Remove and replace existing roofing serving the West section of the DDH building roof (which contains the antenna array)
OPTION B b Asbestos abatement associated with the West section of the DDH building roof.
OPTION C b Air duct cleaning for existing HVAC air distribution system.
65% of the requirement involves HVAC related work
35% of the requirement involves roofing related work
