Texas Virtual School Network Online Course Evaluation
Texas Education Agency (TEA) is seeking proposals to contract for services for the management and implementation of the course quality review process of online courses to be offered through the Texas Virtual School Network (TxSVN). The selected applicant(s) shall evaluate online courses that are eligible for review according to SB 1788, 30A.104 and that are submitted by state-approved TxVSN provider districts for approval of electronic courses as stipulated in Texas Education Code, 30A State Virtual School Network. The selected applicant(s) will review online courses to determine if an online course(s) submitted to be offered through the TxVSN sufficiently addresses 100% of the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) in that content area, and meets or exceeds the National Standards of Quality for Online Courses endorsed by the North American Council for Online Learning (NACOL).
