The Buffalo and Batavia VA Medical Center has a requirement to inspect six (6) emergency generators. three (3) emergency generators are located at the Buffalo VA Medical Center located at 3495 Bailey Ave, Buffalo, NY 14215 and three (3) emergency generators at the Batavia VA medical Center located at 222 Richmond Ave, Batavia, NY 14020-1227. This contract is expected to be a small business set-aside with a base year plus four option years. This work includes but is not limited to the following:
Furnish all labor, parts, tools and equipment as applicable to perform inspections and load bank testing as specified to render the equipment in satisfactory working order.
Contractor will service the equipment to ensure good working order in accordance with the highest standards of workmanship. This includes, where applicable, the adjustment and replacement of serviceable parts. All replacement parts shall be new and unused for the particular system.
Contractor shall not be mandated to replace or repair any piece of equipment that can be proven to work at a 100% functional level.
All parts and labor shall be fully warranted for one year to be free of defects and of acceptable workmanship. If a failure is identified within the first year, the parts will be replaced and /or services rectified free of charge.

The NAICS Code assigned to this procurement is 811310. The expected cost for this firm fixed price contract to include four option years is between $100,000 to $250,000.00. This sources sought is to determine whether there is sufficient interest to warrant either an open market or a small business set aside competition for this procurement. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by Buffalo VA Medical Center. This is not a solicitation.
