Term Agreement for Construction Inspection Support Services in the Buffalo Division
The New York State Thruway Authority ("Authority") is seeking to retain a qualified engineering firm to provide construction inspection support services for various Authority/Canal Corporation let construction contracts in the Buffalo Division. Advertised contracts may include but not be limited to horizontal and vertical construction. During the term of this agreement, the selected firm will be required to provide individuals for various positions, including Project Engineer, Office Engineer, Chief Inspector, and Inspectors of various NICET levels, plus an Environmental Specialist and a Scheduler. The firm may be asked to provide all, or a portion of the necessary staff required to inspect each construction contract. A construction contract may include night work for which nighttime inspections would be required. The estimated value of the agreement is $1,000,000. Assignments are expected to begin in the spring of 2013.
