II.Scope of Work

1.The existing surface at the Centre is a synthetic surface (type unknown) over asphalt that has not been refurbished or replaced since the initial installation in the 1970s.

2.Generally, the City requires a solution whereby the Contractor will:
i)stabilize the existing surface without removing it
ii)apply a new subsurface (base) of asphalt (or similar)
iii)install a new synthetic acrylic surface (Plexipave or similar)
iv)install new lines, posts, netting and winches
v)remove and replace necessary fencing, site rehabilitation
