Hazardous Materials Abatement Project The City of Palo Alto is seeking bids from qualified contractors to furnish all labor,
material, facilities, equipment, transportation, services, employee training and testing as required to perform the work of
asbestos removal, encapsulation, decontamination, disposal, and all other work per the latest regulations from the US.
Environmental Protections Agency (EPA); Cal-EPA; the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA); the State
of California Department of Industrial Relations (Cal/OSHA); the recommendations of the National Institute of Occupations
Safety and Health (NIOSH); and any other applicable federal state and local government regulations per the specifications
and general requirements detailed on the Request for Quotations (RFQ) attached or by hard copy available upon request,
please contact the Purchasing and Contract Administration office at (650) 329-2271. NOTE: A pre-bid conference is
scheduled for Thursday, November 12, 2009. The Conference shall begin promptly at 9:30 a.m., and shall be held at the
job location Cubberley Community Center (by the Auditorium), located at 4000 Middlefield Road, Palo Alto, CA. The
Conference is not mandatory
