The School District currently has three individual phone systems that are over 10 years old. It has a desire to replace the system with an up to-date system, add additional features, including Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), integration with email, a notification solution, Enhanced 911 (E911) abilities, and decreased administration.

The School District has three buildings that each has their own individual phone system. The High School
and Elementary will have a fiber connection back to the Middle School which is the hub of the network.
The goal of the Columbus School District phone system replacement project is to implement a campus wide
system where all buildings will be on the same integrated system. The project will be implemented in one
phase. The School District consists of three (3) buildings. The project roll out will be implemented as one
project.
