The department invites the submission of proposals from firms with expertise and experience with Telephone Surveys,
Among the duties the vendor is expected to undertake: develop questionnaire; develop "aggregated community area regions"; develop a sampling plan; conduct small-scale pretest of Web program; develop revised questionnaire based on results of small-scale pretest; translate questionnaire into Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese and Polish; conduct formal pilot test of questionnaire; hire and train telephone interviewer staff; conduct the minimum number of completed interviews based on the sampling plan; geocode geographic information collected in interviews; determine sample weights based on sampling plan and collected data; prepare final data files and technical reports for analyses and publication of survey results and findings.
