Teleflex PICC IDIQ
This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government. This notice is intended strictly for Market Research. This is a Request for Information only. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations.
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office (NCO) 17, intends to issue a Request for Quotation under FAR part 13 for brand name Teleflex Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter (PICC) products. The medical disposables are currently used in hospitals, outpatient clinics, and remote environments as needed. The intent is to establish a strategic partnership and use a strategic sourcing initiative that will result in a single award VISN-wide indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract available to all VISN 17 medical facilities for use by ordering officers.
The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources that fall with the socioeconomic groups of service-disabled veteran owned small business (SDVOSB), veteran owned small business (VOSB), or any other small business category relative to NAICS 339112. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced on Federal Business Opportunities website http://www.fbo.gov at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement.
VA intends to issue the solicitation as a total SDVOSB/VOSB set-aside under NAICS code 339112, and in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 12. Vendor(s) shall be able to supply new Teleflex PICC medical parts. Vendors shall provide a service agreement with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), verified by an authorization letter or other document from the OEM, such that the OEM s warranty and service are provided or resold by the SDVOSB. No remanufactures or gray market items will be acceptable.

The scope of this IDIQ is to provide facilities within VISN 17 a streamlined process to acquire Teleflex PICC disposables. All commercial Teleflex PICC medical disposables offerings available through the vendor's commercial catalog may be purchased through this IDIQ. All medical equipment within the scope of this IDIQ are identified as and determined to be commercial items readily available in the commercial marketplace.
