Telecommunications equipment and supplies
Severn Trent require a supplier to provide both equiptment and services for the following project outline:
The Sewage Treatment Field (STFS) Services business plan has 2 critical areas of focus.
1. Health and Safety - having safe people working in a safe place.
2. Efficiency - STFS have identified the potential to save up to 10 % of employment costs per year though the intelligent deployment of the workforce based on accurate and available site data. STFS have identified a number of issues relation to the processes and availability of data captured by operational teams on site.
In order to realise the Vision we need to achieve the following objectives:
A. Communications (whereabouts, internet, push pull e-mail, telephony).
B. H & S Near Miss Data capture.
C. Quality Sample data Capture.
D. Interventions Data capture.
E. Interactive Workforce deployment.
F. Other relevant requirements.
It is envisaged that the solution will be hosted off site, separate to Severn Trent's IS systems and supported in the field by mobile technology.
