Telecommunications Expert Services
The State issues a solicitation for proposals for telecommunications expert services related to classification of services that employ voice over internet protocol (VoIP) technology. The expert shall participate in a docket before the Vermont Public Service Board, and provide expert analysis in identification of facts necessary to determine whether so-called “fixed VoIP” is an “information service” or a “telecommunications service” within the meaning of applicable federal law.
