The Technology-Based Supplementary Instruction in Mathematics program is aimed at improving student achievement in mathematics and preparing students to meet the Algebra I end-of-course standard in school districts and open enrollment charter schools with students identified as unlikely to meet the end-of-course standard in Algebra I. Specifically, this program will serve students who are not on track to meet the end-of-course standards in grades 2 through 5 by providing technology-based supplementary instruction in mathematics. The selected proposal must demonstrate proven effectiveness in improving student learning in mathematics in grades 2 through 5.
