In order to leverage synergies between two projects,Mission convergence and AFCS,it has been decided to integrate the smart card related subsystems of the two projects with Reserve Bank of India(RBI) Financial Inclusion Scheme wherein no-frill bank accounts will be open for all beneficiaries under the scheme of Mission Convergence Project.
