Technical Writing
Project Description: The Dane County Department of Planning & Development is soliciting proposals from interested firms and/or individuals for technical writing and editing services for a major county policy document. These services would generally be described as document compilation, technical writing, copyediting and document formatting.
Objectives: The intent of contracting for these services is to provide editorial and writing assistance to county staff to compile existing drafts, graphics, policy statements and data into a coherent document, and to draft new narrative text where necessary. The final document should be accessible to a general public audience but also meet precise content, technical and formatting standards described in the state comprehensive planning law.
