Technical Assistance for State Assessment and Accountability Systems
The state has successfully completed the seventh administration of the New England Common Assessment Program (NECAP) and has refined its system of evaluating Adequately Yearly Progress (AYP). During the next year, state will develop a flexibility request to the USED for the accountability system, continue work on developing a statewide teacher evaluation system, and continue providing technical support for the NECAP assessment system.
