The renovation will include the build-out of open space in the approximately 96,000 SF building to include new classrooms, a logistics laboratory, restrooms, student life space, renovation of existing restrooms and renovation of existing built space. Additionally, the project will include the construction of an exterior storage facility and repaving of the facility’s materials equipment storage yard and the creation of out-door student-life space. The renovation will also include an extensive exterior facade upgrade to modernize the appearance of the mid-1970’s tilt-up concrete panel building. Images of the exterior upgrade have been developed and the successful firm would be expected to finalize the design based on the images. Design services should promote sustainable design standards, whenever possible.
