Taxi Cab Services
The County provides fixed route bus service and complementary paratransit service through its
transportation entity called Votran. It is Volusia Countys intent to have two or more taxicab
companies provide supplementary taxicab service on an as required basis to ambulatory
individuals. Annual usage for previous years was approximately $73,000, however, no volume of
business is guaranteed to firms under this solicitation.
