Tax Collection Solution
Miami-Dade County, hereinafter referred to as the County, as represented by the Miami-Dade County Finance
Department, is soliciting proposals for a web-based state of the art solution capable of supporting the
Departments tax collection, management, and revenue distribution process.
The business processes and functions of this new Solution will encompass real property, tangible personal
property, local business tax receipts, convention and tourism, bankruptcy/litigation cases, and public service
cashiering, as summarized by the requirements in Section 2.0 of this RFP document. The Solution must be
web based and Windows compatible from the user perspective, modular in design, and be capable of
integrating and interfacing with other County systems. The proposed Solution should be capable of allowing
public inquiries and payments over the Internet as well as inquiries over an existing Voice Response Phone
System. In addition, the proposed Solution should provide imaging capabilities either by using the existing
County electronic document management system (EDMS) or through the proposed Solutions document
imaging functionality.
