Taos Center for the Arts RFP
The Taos Center for the Arts (TCA) announces a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a Visual Art Exhibit to take place in the Encore Gallery: August 28 September 20, 2009.
The TCA encourages installation and contemporary works.
RFPs must include:
~Up to 5 photos or drawn examples of work NO CDs please
~Up to 1 page typed description of exhibit and why you should be chosen
~If your proposal is an installation please give conceptual example image
~Artist phone, e-mail and mailing address
~$20 nonrefundable entry fee check payable to TCA
~No fee for current TCA Members

Submission Deadline: 5pm Monday, June 8, 2009
If chosen, artist(s) are responsible for hanging/removing their show with guidance from TCA Visual Art Director. All sales will be handled through the TCA with a 30/70 TCA/Artist split. TCA will not insure the work. An opening reception will be planned and artist(s) must help and be in attendance. RFP is open to artists of all ages and all media.
