SUBJECT: Sources Sought- T-28 Aerial Performance
This is a SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS. This is for a market survey only; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this synopsis and no contract shall be awarded from this synopsis. The U.S. Air Force, Dyess Air Force Base, has been tasked to identify potential sources, market capabilities and market conditions for the acquisition of a T-28 Aerial Performance contract. The period of performance will be May 10-13. Interested and capable commercial sources are being sought to determine the level of interest to perform a T-28 Aerial Performance. This is not a solicitation for bid. The proposed requirement is anticipated to be a firm fixed price contract. Any resulting solicitation will be posted electronically to this site. The NAICS is 711510 - Independent Artists, Writers, and Performers. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow-up information requests.
The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of vendors to compete for and execute a Firm-Fixed Price contract to perform the requirements of an air show aerial demonstration contract.
The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform an air show air boss contract. All work performed by the contractor shall be in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, standards, instructions, and commercial practices.
All submittals received will be reviewed for informational purposes. The type of solicitation to be issued will depend upon the responses to this sources sought synopsis. The Government must determine and ensure there is adequate competition among the potential pool of interested, capable commercial companies.
