The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Patuxent River, Maryland, intends to issue a sole source contract modification to an existing contract to procure necessary commercial off-the shelf (COTS) computer hardware servers and software licenses required to support integration and testing at the LM and Dahlgren System Development Activity (SDA) test facilities to address hardware obsolescence for the Ship, Submersible, Nuclear (SSN) platforms. This effort is in support of the Tomahawk Weapon Control System program. For purposes of this effort, NAVAIR intends to award to Lockheed Martin Information Systems & Global Services (LM IS&GS), 230 Mall Blvd, King of Prussia, PA. Lockheed Martin is the current contractor for the SDA and the designer, developer and sole manufacturer of the Tactical Tomahawk Weapon Control System (TTWCS) and the only known contractor with the unique knowledge, experience, technical expertise and understanding of the TTWCS design, system architecture and software required to provide the integration and testing. The procurement includes four (4) servers that meet the form/fit/function of the COTs servers: Part Number 700512-1, Description - TI14-S06-1, AP (REAR IO) SERVER and two (2) license for Red Hat: Red Hat - Part# RH00004, Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server - Standard subscription ( 1 year ) - 2 sockets, 1 physical/2 virtual nodes. The estimated period of performance for this effort is six (6) months. Because detailed knowledge of the TTWCS and its software development configuration is required to perform the integration and testing and define the server requirements, Lockheed Martin is the only source capable of accomplishing the integration of this requirement in the required timeframe without significant duplication of cost. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. This effort requires access to "Military Critical Technical Data". The data associated with the TTWCS is export controlled and is not available to foreign sources or representatives.
