TRAFFIC SIGNAL CONTROLLER CABINETS
It is Sacramento County's intent to purchase a minimum of sixty (60) traffic signal controller cabinets, which include proto-type units retained by the County. The County reserves the right to purchase up to a maximum of 120 each. Vendors that submit a competitive bid will be required to manufacturer and deliver one (1) proto-type traffic signal controller cabinet upon written notification from Contract and Purchasing Services. The purpose of the prototype is to ensure that the cabinet is built to specifications and that the workmanship is of a high quality. Detailed items to be checked and evaluated consist of, but not limited to, are solder connections, proper wire stripping and crimping, terminations, wire bundling, cabinet layout, electrical components (such as: relays, fans, lighting, switches, and filtering devices), and that the cabinet will function. The back of the loadbay must be accessible. The cabinet will be loaded with standard equipment and expected to perform without modifications.
