The VHA Network Contracting Office 6 (NCO 6) is conducting a market survey to find qualified vendors who can provide the following item:

Salient Characteristics

Functions to be performed;B B
Shelves feature special interlocking corners that fit in slots of collars mounted to split sleeves, allowing addition or removal of a shelf without the need to disassemble the entire shelf unit. Tapered split sleeves create a positive lock that becomes stronger as the load increases. Leveling feet are provided to help com pen sate for un even floor surfaces. Shelf utilizes a pincer-type design with the mat wire sandwiched between the two top truss wires, adding significant strength and distributing the entire load without stress and strain on the welds.

Converts portion of shelf unit into a lockable enclosed security unit, adding versatility and flexibility.B Includes end panels, rear panel, and door(s).B Available with hinged doors or with single flip-up door.B More than one module can be added, depending on unit s overall height

Mats snap into truss frame.
B Injection-molded polypropylene mats feature MICROGARDB. antimicrobial protection.
B Easy cleaning.
B Dishwasher-safe.
B Blue mats come with truss frames coated with chrome or Valu-MasterB. gray epoxy finish.
Green mats come with truss frames coated with EAGLEgardB. epoxy or Valu-GardB. epoxy finish.
Both style of truss frames can be fitted onto the same shelving unit.
Set of four split sleeves (included with each truss frame) snap onto
Eagle s 1 -diameter posts.
Temperature rating of shelf mats: -20B0F to 125B0F.

Dimensions and Load
Load ratings shall be 800 lbs. (375 kg.) equally distributed for shelves up to 48 (1220mm) long, and 600 lbs. (275 kg.) equally distributed for shelves up to 72 (1825mm) long.

If your firm is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned or Veteran-Owned Small Business, you must be CERTIFIED in VetBiz (see internet site: http://vip.vetbiz.gov). The Veteran Administration is required to give priority to SDVOSB and then VOSB concerns if there should be sufficient firms available to compete under a set-aside. If insufficient veteran owned small business responses are received, the acquisition will be set-aside for small business participation if there are sufficient firms available. If insufficient small business responses are received, the action will be advertised for full and open competition.
The NAICS 337215 is applicable to this acquisition; with a size standard of 500 employees.
Interested firms are reminded that in accordance with FAR 4.1201(a) Prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications at the System for Award Management (SAM) as a part of required registration in conjunction with FAR 4.1102(a) that states, Prospective contractors shall be registered in the (SAM) database prior to award of a contract or agreement. Therefore, due to time constraints, vendors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov to be considered for an award.
