The HTA has set as one of its marketing priorities a goal of measuring the effectiveness of Hawaiis two major marketing contractors the Hawaii Visitors & Convention Bureau and Hawaii Tourism Japan through a Marketing Effectiveness Study. This study has been conducted since 2003, and provides valuable insight into the overall intention to travel to Hawaii, brand valuation, and measurement of specific, separate attributes for the U.S. West, U.S. East and Japan markets.
In this Request for Proposals (RFP), the HTA is seeking a qualified contractor to perform a Marketing Effectiveness Study in 2009. The objectives of the study and required scope of services are included in this RFP.
